We started a bit of a tradition a few years ago where we craft scents specifically for Black Friday/Cyber Monday and the Christmas sale season. These are scents you won’t any other time of the year. Some of them have been such successful favorites that we bring them back later as a full line (I’m looking at you, Triumph!) while others fade gracefully into the memory books. This year is like that but THERE’S MORE so keep reading for the details.
If you’re new to our Black Friday/Cyber Monday releases, this part is for you. We offer 3oz Shave Soaps that are hot-poured into our signature green 4oz jars. We also have 2oz Aftershave Splashes in green glass bottles with an orifice reducer and silver cap (as pictured). Both Shave Soap and Aftershaves are $8 each and they are available in the following scents:
Eau de Toilettes are also something we started last year to compliment the Shave Soap and Aftershave Splash sets above. We put them in our 50ml bottles at $16.95-$17.95 each so you’ll have a full set! These are available in the following scents:
We first launched our Hand Sanitizing Serum in late spring and it was a huge success. These make fantastic stocking stuffers and they’re great to have around in your pocket or purse as you move about this holiday season. We are offering them 15% OFF right now through Christmas.
**For those of you interested, we are also working on a standard hand sanitizing gel. Release date TBD.
Stop drinking stale, commodity-grade coffee that has been sitting in a warehouse or on store shelves for months! Try a freshly roasted bag of specialty grade coffee and taste the amazing difference for yourself!
Be prepared for the same revelation you had when you switched from canned foam and store bought soaps to wetshaving and real, high-quality soaps. Once you try freshly roasted, high-quality coffee, you’ll never go back to stale grounds.
Label Breakdown
You’ll notice some things about our labels that may throw you off if you’re not familiar with specialty coffee.
– The first thing is the “flavors” listed below the name/origin. These are not added flavors as we do not sell flavored coffee. These are notes that are inherent to the beans that you can taste in your cup. These are quality beans and they were roasted to specifically pull out these natural flavors.
– Next comes the roast level. Most of what you buy on your grocery store shelves are medium and dark roasts. However, there’s a lot of flavor missing from those beans and you end up with a lot of bitterness that you may or may not cover up with a lot of cream and sugar. Please don’t compare our roast depth with what you get from the store. We will have roasts of all levels to suit all tastes, from blonde all the way up to dark espresso.
– Below the roast depth is the process type and a little more information about the origin or grade. Washed means the beans were washed before they were allowed to dry. This process removes almost, if not all, of the coffee’s outer pulp. There are other processes like “natural” that do not remove the outer pulp.
Whole Bean vs Ground
We recommend investing in a burr grinder so you can grind whole beans just before use. That will keep your bag of coffee fresh for about a month.
That being said, we do offer ground coffee and recommend it being used sooner than later to so you have the freshest cup possible.
Order Shipment
The Stirling Roastery website is up and running, but you can still order the coffee directly from the Stirling Soap Company website. If you would like to set up a coffee subscription, please visit the Roastery Website here.
Also, all coffee orders are shipped as close to roasting as possible. This may mean your coffee is delayed by a couple days while we roast the coffee you ordered. This is done so you know your coffee is as fresh as possible and hasn’t been sitting on our shelves for weeks. All bags of coffee will have the roast date and batch number included on the bag.
